After breakfast depart for Pilanesberg National Park, Deep in the heart of the bushveld; at the heart of an ancient The Park has a rich array of southern African wildlife including the Big Five, the five most dangerous game animals in Africa. Most of the animal species of southern Africa live in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve today, including Transvaal lions, elephants, South, southern white rhinoceros, African buffaloes, African leopards, South African cheetahs, Hartmann's mountain zebras, South African giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. The Cape wild dog had been extirpated from the park, but reintroduction efforts have been carried out recently, with uncertain outcome. Over 360 bird species were counted. Morning depart for Cape Town, The Garden Route is probably South Africa’s most celebrated area, a stretch of coast heralded as one of the country’s highlights. Morning depart for Table Mountain and half day City Orientation Tour. Ascend Table Mountain for unforgettable sweeping views (weather permitting &Non refundable). Here we can see Table Mountain from the same perspective as the early settlers did when they sailed into Table Bay. Return to the city through Malay Quarter, company gardens, house of Parliament and pass by the Castle of Good Hope. Morning depart for full day Cape Peninsula tour. Travel at a pace that allows you to explore the beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Visit Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay and the dramatic view from Chapman’s Peak Drive. Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). After breakfast depart to Cape Town airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Proceed for lunch and go onwards towards Gold Reef Tour in the noon. The Golf Reef City is situated on a 10Ha site which surrounds the historically significant no 14 shaft at Crown Mines. This 19th century gold mine produced 1.4 million kilograms of gold before closing in the 70’s. The shaft was opened in 1897, only 11 years after Johannesburg was established and was part of the gold reef stretching 100 km from Boksburg in the east to Randfontein in the west. This made gold reef city (shaft 14) the world’s richest producer of gold, 1.4 million kilograms over its 90 year life span. This shaft was at its time, one of the deepest gold mines and worked by 30 000 miners. Travel back in time with a first-hand look at an old mining town and vibrant life.
