Itinerary

Your getaway to South America starts in Sao Paulo. On arrival into Brazil's top-notch tourist destination,
your friendly Thomas Cook tour manager / local representative will be waiting outside the baggage hall to
welcome you. Later proceed to your hotel and check-in. Later in the evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the airport for your flight to Manaus. On arrival in the center of the
Amazon Forest, you will be met by a local representative who will drive you to the hotel for check-in. Your
English speaking guide will escort you on a pleasant tour starting at Buzzing Municipal Market to observe
the day-to-day life of the local people and also get a partial view of the floating harbour. Later on, you will
be taken on a walk departing from Praça Heliodoro Balbi to Palácio Rio Negro, telling a little about the
history of Manaus and finally a visit to Teatro Amazonas (Opera House), the symbol of the rich period of
rubber time. Enjoy a delicious dinner tonight.

Day 3 :
Manaus

After breakfast, get ready for the most adventurous part of your tour, – Meeting of the Waters excursion. It
is one of the most incredible displays of nature’s majesty. No matter what you’ve heard, nothing can fully
prepare you for a trip to ‘Meeting of the Waters’, the incredible place where two distinct bodies of water
meet, but don’t mix. Here is where they join, without losing their distinct qualities. The Rio Negro is a
darker, slower, and much heavier body of water than the Rio Solimoes. Temperature, density and velocity
differences keep these two bodies of water separate for more than 6 miles before at last they join to form
the great Amazon. Sloths, piranhas, anacondas and colorful parrots are just a few of the animals you
might expect to encounter on a tour of the Amazon on a riverboat tour. After an exciting day, enjoy a
delicious dinner.

After breakfast, proceed to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, your friendly Thomas
Cook tour manager / local representative will be waiting outside the baggage hall to welcome and transfer
you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to experience the pulse of this amazing city on your
own. Tonight enjoy Indian dinner.

After a buffet breakfast, proceed on an amazing tour of the city. Your tour begins with a panoramic city
view through downtown Rio, passing by the Maracana Stadium, the Sambodrome and Metropolitan
Cathedral. Get to know the traditional Cinelandia square with the historical buildings, the Municipal
Theatre and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Later you will be taken to the neighbourhood of Urca
where one of the largest symbols of the city is located: the Sugar Loaf. Over a million tourists a year visit
the world famous Pao de Acucar or Sugar Loaf Mountain in English, which has become an iconic symbol
of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get a unique experience in the cable car while going up to the mountain. In
the afternoon you will visit Corcovado Mountain with the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer. You will
take the cog - wheel rail upto the Corcovado Mountain. Later, drive across the famous beaches of
Ipanema and Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. Later in evening enjoy dinner.

This morning after breakfast, board your flight to Iguassu. On arrival, proceed to the hotel for check-in.
Proceed for stunning views over the Iguazu River we get to the falls on the Brazilian side. The walkway
entering the river next to the Floriano fall gives the visitor a refreshing reception and a gorgeous
panoramic view of the lower Iguazu River and the Devil’s Gorge Canyon. These circuits provide a unique
experience of feeling part of the natural surroundings, watching and sensing their magnitude from close.
Later enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for a tour of the Argentinean falls. Visitors first arrive to the Visitors Center and
walk the Nature´s Interpretation Center. At the Visitors Center, the Green Train leaves from central
Station and goes first to Cataratas Station. The option is a short walk through the “Green Trail” that leads
to the beginning of the path towards the Upper and Lower trails. The trails are detached from the jungle´s
surface so as to protect the fauna by preventing disruption of their natural trails. From this circuit you have
an upper view of the falls, enjoying their magnificence with a panoramic view. A walk along the catwalks,
some 1200 meters over the islands, takes you to enjoy the most spectacular sight from the most
important balcony: the Devil’s Gorge. Later proceed to the airport to board your flight to Lima the capital
and largest city of Peru. On arrival, proceed to your hotel for your check-in. Enjoy dinner in the evening.

Day 8 :
Lima

After breakfast, enjoy city tour of Lima. We will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at
the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca
Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Later we will go to San Isidro, financial center of the city.
After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We
will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de
Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today.
Enjoy dinner in the evening.

After breakfast, transfer to Lima airport to take your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival proceed to your hotel
and check-in. Later we proceed for guided city tour of Cusco. We will start our Imperial Cusco city tour
visiting the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, an impressive fortress of colossal dimensions with rocks
that are up to 4 meters tall and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly. Then we will
continue to explore Q'enqo, the Puma shrine, and see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave
and Tambomachay and its sacred fountains of life. On the route, we will have a panoramic view of Puca
Pucará watchtower which guarded the city entrance. After this, we will visit the Korikancha temple, Inti
God shrine, on which the Santo Domingo church was built. According to the chronicles, this temple was
completely covered in gold in Inca times. Finally, we will go to the Main Square in order to visit
the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces such as The Cross which arrived along
with the first conquers. Enjoy dinner in the evening.

Day 10 :
Cusco

This morning after breakfast, we shall proceed to visit one of the wonders of the world - Machu Picchu.
You will start by a train going through the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to the
fabulous mountaintop ruins of Machu Picchu. This city is an eye-tantalizing tribute to man in harmony with
nature. On arrival, you will notice that within this city, from the intricate terraces and delicate gardens to
the complex system of aqueducts, was designed to both promote and preserve the sacred relationship
between man and nature. Enjoy the full day in this magical place and later take a train back to
Cusco.Enjoy dinner in the evening.

Today after breakfast, check-out and proceed to airport to board your flight to Buenos Aires the largest
city and capital of Argentina. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in. Rest of the afternoon will be
at leisure. Later in the evening after a delicious dinner, you will be taken for the glamorous Tango Show -
A musical extravaganza with poetical, exciting, entertaining, unexpected and touching edges.Enjoy
Dinner & Tango Show.

Today after breakfast, enjoy half day city tour of this beautiful city. This tour gives you the emotion of a
multiple Buenos Aires. We will see the symbol of the city: the obelisk, visit different squares such as Plaza
de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Congreso. See avenues like Corrientes, Mayo, 9 de Julio and more.
Historical and elegant neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat, Palermo and Recoleta, and
the most modern: Puerto Madero. Parks such as Lezama and Tres de Febrero. We will also see financial
and commercial areas and a Football Stadium. Later, evening is at leisure for shopping on your own.
Enjoy dinner with transfers.

Today after breakfast, check-out and proceed to airport to board your flight to Ushuaia - resort town in
Argentina. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in. Rest of the afternoon will be at leisure. Later
you proceed for City tour of Ushuaia. Enjoy Dinner in the evening.

Day 14 :
Ushuaia

Today after breakfast, proceed to Experience one of the most interesting parts of the Ushuaia area on a
Beagle Channel cruise. Admire views of the city of Ushuaia, colorfully reflected over the harbor with
snow-capped mountains as a backdrop. Marvel at islands in the channel that are home to colonies of sea
lions and cormorants. Later in evening enjoy dinner.

Today after breakfast, check-out and proceed to airport to board your flight to El Calafate. On arrival,
proceed to your hotel and check-in. Later you proceed for City tour of El Calafate. Enjoy Dinner in the
evening.

Day 16 :
El Calafate

Today after breakfast, Set off to Perito Moreno, one of Patagonia's most imposing and most visited
glaciers, located in the UNESCO-listed Los Glaciares National Park. Admire the gigantic ice formation
from different perspectives during the brisk hike along the surrounding catwalks. Rest of the day is free
for leisure or shopping. Dinner in the evening.

Today after breakfast, check-out and proceed to airport to board your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival,
proceed to your hotel and check-in. The day is free for leisure or Shopping. Enjoy Dinner in the evening.
