Itinerary
Arrive Srinagar Airport and proceed to Pahalgam. In the south-east of Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 mts. above sea level. It is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, high mountain lakes, it also offers 9 hole golf course, skiing, pony trails, angling (rainbow & brown trout’s) horse ridding, trekking (both hard & soft) & various places of interest in & around like Aru valley, Lidderwat valley, Kolhai glacier, Shesh Nag, Chandanwari(route to holy cave), Baisam & Mamil famous for 9th century old (Shiva Temple) thus happens to be a preferred spot among domestic tourists, check in hotel refresh yourself & after lunch in afternoon explore the surroundings with scenic view all around & return back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast proceeds to Srinagar. On arrival check in Deluxe Houseboat. Later enjoy relaxing boat ride by (Shikara) to explore the Dal-lake, waterways, backwaters, canals, Floating Gardens, Vegetable Gardens, Water Lilies, Lotus, Easily accessible Mobile Venders, Floating handicraft centre & inherited lifestyle of people living inside the Lake since decades. Return back to Dlx. houseboat/hotel for lunch. In the evening visit to famous Mughal Gardens Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, Shalimar collectively known as Mughal Gardens are contribution of the great Mughal laid out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock , thus providing panoramic view of entire city, along the famous Dal-lake & river Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina / Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned carpets, evening return back to Dlx. Houseboat for dinner & overnight stay.
Leave after Breakfast for full day excursion to Gulmarg”Meadow of wild flowers” lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 Mts. above sea level, snow capped mountains are all around one can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is Premier winter sports Ski resort For Skiers with one of the world’s highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, cable car Upto Alpather via Khilanmarg by Asia’s long run cable car ride approx. 5 kms. Evening return back to Dlx. Houseboat / Hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Leave after Breakfast from Kargil for Leh, enroute visit: Lamayuru Gompa. The Lamayuru ‘’Yungdug’’Gompa is remarkably built on a rock, around 125 kms. West of Leh. Continue your drive, on arrival check in at Hotel.Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
After breakfast excursion to visit the 1000 year old paintings of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh en-route visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir monastery, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar rivers which are the two major rivers in Ladakh, Magnetic Hill and military Hall of Fame. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.
On day 3, post an early breakfast at around 08:00 AM, begin your road journey to Nubra Valley via the world-popular Khardungla Pass. At an altitude of 18360 feet, it is one of the highest motorable passes. Later on, you visit the silver sand dunes near Hunder village. Hop onto a double humped Camel for a memorable camel safari around the place. The next visit is to the villages of Diskit and Hunder (80 km round trip / 6-7 hours). The road trip in this region is a beautiful one. Get a sneak-peak into the lifestyle of the locals. Stay overnight at Nubra.
Morning visit Hunder ,which is a village in the Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir, India famous for Sand dune, Bactrian camel. It is located in the Nubra tehsil, on the bank of Shayok River. The Hunder Monastery is located here. After that drive back to Leh 155 kms/ 5-6 hrs via Khardongla pass. Evening free in Leh bazaars for last minute shopping, in Leh items like pure Pashmina shawls, good pearls, Chinese cutleries and beautiful Ladakhi wooden handicrafts can be purchased. Overnight at the hotel.
Early morning full day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Changla Pass 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. Afternoon explore the lake and enjoy a romantic walk along the lake. En route visit Thiksey monastery. Overnight at Pangong.
Members can enjoy early morning photo -shoots of the lake which looks great, breakfast and then drive back to Leh. If desired members can visitHemis Monastery 5 km across Indus river near Kharu, Hemis is the richest and the biggest monastery complex in Laadkh and later visitRancho School. Back to Leh by noon. Afternoon free at leisure for last minute shopping etc. Overnight at the Hotel.
Morning transfer to KBR airport to board flight for Delhi & onwards to Ahmedabad to your Home town with the wonderful memories of Leh-Ladakh.
